The Balkan Medical Journal has published a groundbreaking consensus report on Takotsubo Syndrome (TTS), developed with the collaboration of experts from 16 countries. This report addresses the pressing diagnostic and treatment challenges associated with TTS, a condition characterized by reversible heart dysfunction that often mimics myocardial infarction. By providing actionable recommendations, the report aims to enhance diagnostic accuracy and improve management strategies, fostering a more standardized approach to TTS care across global clinical settings. This international effort marks a significant step forward in addressing the complexities of TTS in medical practice.
